One handmade, 100% woven fabric mask dyed in the Shibori style with fun colors. Masks have a double layer of material with a pocket for a filter (not included) and a removable flexible nose piece (included). All masks are made with repurposed material here in Denver, Colorado and include black ties or elastic for securing the mask.

Elastic is customizable for either behind the ears or around the neck/head.

Masks are generously sized and fit most adults. The folded and pleated mask size is 8 inches x 3.75 inches; when the pleats are opened, the mask is about 8" tall.

Due to the dyeing process, all dye batches are slightly different and what you receive may be a slightly different shade than shown. Please also wash your mask with similar colors the first couple washes as some dye may be left behind.

Please check out the FAQ section for my recommendations on how to wash your mask.

There has been no testing on the efficiency of homemade masks and they are not guaranteed to protect you. Please continue to follow all CDC social distancing guidelines. Make sure to wash your mask after every use and wash your hands before and after removing the mask, touching only the ties when removing.

Masks may be worn with the elastic tied behind the ears or behind the head. The elastic is easily untied and retied. I prefer a square knot to keep the elastic flat To trim the elastic, simply cut. To prevent slight fraying in the elastic, briefly expose it to flame and pinch the melted fibers flat. When washing the mask, do NOT untie the elastic to ensure that the elastic does not slip out of the mask. Elastic is safe in the washer and drier, but do not stretch or pull on the elastic while it is hot.
